Lorraine Richie is the proud owner of Lorraine’s Bake Shop, a beloved bakery known for its beautifully decorated sugar cookies. Originally from New Jersey, Lorraine and her family relocated to Montgomery, Alabama in 2019, bringing a touch of Northeast charm to the Southern city. With a passion for baking and a keen eye for detail, she has turned Lorraine’s Bake Shop into a local favorite, delighting customers with intricate and delicious cookie designs.

As a small business owner that started from scratch in Montgomery only a few years ago, Lorraine Ritchie chartered her own path with community involvement, promotions, and overall efforts to become a successful staple of downtown Montgomery. We’re excited to learn about her communications, PR, marketing, and advertising efforts as a small business owner and hear her journey, wins, challenges, and lessons learned along the way!
