Padgett-BB-OfficialJoin us Tuesday, October 14, as we hear from Dr. Steven B. Padgett of Troy University as he presents, “The changing worlds of higher education and public relations.”

Padgett recently retired as the director of the Hall School of Journalism and Communication at Troy University in June 2014. He continues to teach in the School’s graduate program and holds the academic rank of Professor. “Dr. P,” as he is known by his current and former students, served as the last dean of the Hall School of Journalism before it was merged into the College of Communication and Fine Arts. He specializes in technology and his primary teaching areas are in media convergence, all platform journalism and multimedia communication.
